Je pravdou, že je dlhodobejším trendom v únii smer k posilňovaniu prvého piliera.
Pension schemes and pension projections in the EU-27 Member States — 2008-2060, Volume I — Report (.pdf), uvádza na strane 39, že kým v roku 2007 šlo na public pension spending v priemere v EÚ 10.1% HDP, v roku 2060 by to malo byť 12,5% HDP.
Nie je to už ale tak, ako sa snaží navodiť poslankyňa teda preto, že by to bolo politickým cieľom.
Ako konštatuje správa: In general, at the EU27 level, the effect of demographic factor – as captured by the
dependency ratio (the ratio between persons aged 65 and over and persons aged 15-64)- is
the most relevant in pushing up spending, although it is decreasing over time as from 2030
(Graph 3). The largest contribution is envisaged for the periods 2007-2030, reaching +2.3
p.p. At the end of the projection (2050-2060), the contribution of demographic factors
levels down to +0.7 p.p. of GDP.
