Ukrajina má svoje vlastné zdroje plynu a Ukrajina má nejaké vlastné zásoby a podľa slov premiéra Jaceňuka Ukrajina potrebuje ročne okolo 25 miliárd metrov kubických plynu z iných zdrojov, aby bola zabezpečená energetická bezpečnosť Ukrajiny. Sú tri reverzné body, sú teda tri body, kde sa dá dodávať plyn opačne. Dá sa dodávať opačne na území Maďarska, na území Poľska a na území Slovenska. A dohromady už dnes vieme dodať 18 až 19 miliárd metrov kubických.

Fico o Ukrajine a sankciách - 08.09.2014
Nepravda

Ukrajina podla vyjadrenia ukrajinského predsedu vlády Jacenuka má nejaké zásoby a potrebuje do konca roka 25 mld. m3 plynu. Spolu teda vie Madarsko, Polsko a Slovensko dodat Ukrajine do 17 mld. plynu. Potvrdzujú to aj slová samotného Fica len pár dní pred otvorení reverzu. Fico sa netriafa do intervalu, výrok hodnotíme ako nepravdivý.

Reuters, 4. apríla 2014:

"Poland has a reverse capacity of 1.5 bcm to Ukraine, while Hungary is able to send 3.5 bcm. Romania has the potential for 1.8 bcm, but there has been no firm agreement on its use."

Agentúra ITAR-TASS, 2. júla 2014:

"Poland’s Gaz-System, a natural gas transmission system operator, has a chance to say not over than 1.5 billion cubic metres per year will be supplied to Ukraine. ...The maximum amount of reverse gas flows from Hungary reaches five billion cubic metres...In 2013, Ukraine consumed about 50 billion cubic metres of gas."

Niektoré zdroje hovoria o rocnej spotrebe Ukrajiny až 55 mld. m3 plynu. RT, 14. august 2014:

"Deliveries from Slovakia could satisfy up to 20 percent of Ukraine’s natural gas demand, which in 2013 was 55 billion cubic meters."

Reuters, 2. septembra 2014:

"Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said the opening of the pipeline that could potentially meet up to 20 percent of Ukraine's demand showed his country was united with the EU, which is also worried about a Russian supply cut this winter."

Reuters, 27. august 2014:
"Yatseniuk said Ukraine needed to buy some 25 billion cubic meters of natural gas to meet its annual needs. Russia cut off its exports to Ukraine in July in a dispute over pricing. ...Ukraine will receive 10 billion cubic meters from its western neighbor Slovakia and 5 billion from Hungary and Poland, he said. Its current gas reserves total 16 billion cubic meters, the prime minister added."

Eustream na svojej stránke uvádza:

"Plynovod Vojany-Užhorod bude prepravovat na Ukrajinu 10 miliárd m3 plynu rocne (27 mil. m3 denne).

27. augusta približne pät dní pred otvorení reverzu na Ukrajinu Fico hovoril o spolocnej kapacite 16-17 mld. m3 plynu:

"Reverse gas flows from Slovakia, Hungary and Poland to Ukraine could reach up to around 16-17 bcm/y, around a third of Ukraine's annual demand, Fico was quoted as saying by Reuters."

NASDAQ, 10. septembra 2014:
"Another of Ukraine's neighboring members of the European Union, Slovakia has since early September pumped gas to Ukraine, with Hungary also pitching in. Late this spring Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico estimated that maximum gas flows from Slovakia, Hungary and Poland could eventually total up to 17 billion cubic meters next year, about a third of Ukraine's total annual demand of some 50 billion cubic meters."
