EU rozhodla na summite, že ponúkne Ukrajine podpis Asociačnej dohody ...aj dočasnej vláde, ešte pred predčasnými voľbami...takže o tom je už dávno rozhodnute.

Na stretnutí ministrov zahranicných vecí SR 3. marca 2014 predstavitelia EÚ opätovne ponúkli Ukrajine uzavretie prístupových zmlúv.
"On 3 March the EU ministers for foreign affairs held an extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council on the situation in Ukraine. The ministers confirmed the EU's readiness to support the country alongside other international institutions, especially the IMF. The EU reconfirmed its offer of the Association Agreement, including a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area."
Je teda pravdou, že EÚ ponúkla aj docasnej vláde Asociacnú zmluvu podpísat.
Balás Jarábik špecialista na Východné partnerstvo z Inštitútu pre stredoeurópsku politiku (CEPI) ohladom zastavenia procesu prijímania Asociacných zmlúv medzi EU a Ukrajinou povedal nasledovné v novembri 2013:
„Nie sú stanovené žiadne podmienky, kedy sa tak má stat. Môže to urobit hocikedy a zatial jediným spôsobom, ktorým by to chcela zrušit, je, že sa pridá k Colnej únii na cele s Ruskom,“ povedal pre TASR.

"EU Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht has said that the European Union is ready to sign the Association Agreement with Ukraine when Ukraine is ready, he said at a press conference in Athens after the Informal Foreign Affairs Council/ Trade. "If and when Ukraine is ready to sign the deal, then the European Union is ready to sign the deal."
