Povolebná situácia a zostavovanie koalície - 14.03.2016
Podobný výrok Fico vyslovil už v predvolebnej debate z 2. marca. Správa Európskej komisie hovorí, že Slovensko patrí medzi 5 krajín, ktorých rozpočet je v súlade s ustanoveniami Paktu stability a rastu (napr. deficit pod 3%). Ďalšími krajinami z tejto pätice sú Nemecko, Holandsko, Luxembursko a Estónsko. Výrok hodnotíme ako pravdivý.
Podľa správy:
"…for five countries (Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Slovakia), the budget plans are found to be compliant with the requirements under the SGP."
Komentár Európskej komisie síce chváli Slovensko za tieto skutočnosti, no zmieňuje aj istú kritiku v súvislosti s malým pokrokom v otázke odporúčaní Rady (Európsky Semester 2015), ktoré sa týkajú fiškálnej politiky.
Inak však EK odporúča prijať tento návrh rozpočtu.
"After taking into account the additional information provided by the Slovak authorities, the Commission is of the opinion that the Draft Budgetary Plan of Slovakia, which is currently under the preventive arm, is compliant with the provisions of the Stability and Growth Pact. The Commission invites the authorities to implement the 2016 budget rigorously.
The Commission is also of the opinion that Slovakia has made limited progress with regard to the country-specific recommendations issued by the Council in the context of the 2015 European Semester relating to fiscal governance and thus invites the authorities to accelerate progress."
