Peter Pellegrini

Sú nejaké zaužívané objemy prostriedkov v rámci krajín OECD, koľko percent z HDP by malo smerovať z rozpočtových zdrojov do školstva. Samozrejme, Slovensko je nižšie ako je priemer.

V správe OECD Education at a Glance 2013 (ďalšia správa bude vydaná 9. septembra 2014) sa uvádza:

In 2010, OECD countries spent an average of 6.3% of their GDP on educational institutions. (s.184)

Expenditure on educational institutions (all levels combined) relative to GDP was greater than 6% in nearly
half of the OECD and G20 countries with available data, and even above 7% in seven of them: Denmark (8.0%),
Iceland (7.7%), Israel (7.4%), Korea (7.6%), New Zealand (7.3%), Norway (7.6%) and the United States (7.3%).
At the other end of the spectrum, five countries spent less than 5% of their GDP on education, namely the
Czech Republic (4.7%), Hungary (4.6%), Italy (4.7%), the Russian Federation (4.9%) and the Slovak Republic
(4.6%). (s.186)

Pellegrini správne poznamenal, že Slovensko sa nachádza pod priemerom krajín OECD v otázke investícií do školstva, dokonca výrazne.
